Lake Colors

Lake colors can easily disperse in vegetable oil and blend well with fats, oils, and similar substances. They can also be suspended in solutions of propylene glycol or sucrose (water or sugar-based). As relatively inert absorption compounds, lake colors are highly versatile and adaptable. Their excellent dispersion properties make them suitable for coloring a vast range of products. Being more stable than watersoluble colors, they are widely used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
